This morning around 1030am-11am, Jolan Truan (from Arizona) and I saw at least
six Black Swifts along the trail below Zapata Falls.  To get there, take Hwy
150 north from Hwy 160 between the towns of Blanca and Alamosa.  Look for the
Zapata Falls sign, then go east up the washboard bumpy road up to the parking
lot.  Then hike up the dirt rocky trail 1/2 mile, and look in the sky.  The
swifts were flying around.

Jolan and I looked for several birds in Huerfano and Costilla Counties this
morning, and didn't find any of them.  Missed the Black-throated Sparrows,
Hepatic Tanagers, Grace's Warblers all in Huerfano County, and then missed the
Sage Sparrow in Costilla County.

Good birding,
