While atlasing our Rock Draw atlas block (83G3SE) in Lincoln County, we were
lucky enough to find a juvenile Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. Last seen, the bird
was foraging along the roadside around the "T" intersection of Road 43 (aka Co.
Highway 60) and "U" Road about 10 miles west of the Cheyenne County line. The
intersection is about 10 miles south of Highway 94 on Road 43.
Another mile further south you can look for Red-headed Woodpeckers on Road "S"
as it crosses Rush Creek.
