I didn't know if I should post this but I've been told that they are "uncommon"
in Pueblo County so here goes.
Besides the usual breeding birds and gorgeous Bullock's Orioles around the
Nature Center in Pueblo, we saw two Green Herons just down river from the
restaurant at the Nature Center; they were across the river and we had very
good looks at them from the path where there is a tall dead tree stump and a
manhole.
Also of note, a pair of Black Phoebes ("carrying food") were in the general
area and a Blue Grosbeak was relentlessly chasing a family of Lark Sparrows.
