This morning I looked out my kitchen window and was delighted to see a Western Tanager on my suet feeder. This would be a first for "my" yard...my yard being the green area of the apartment complex where I live on the edge of Palmer Park. I've seen Western Tanagers in the park (usually up on the open space of Yucca Flats), but this is the first time one has actually come to my suet feeder. What a delightful surprise to the beginning of a work day!
