Hi Birders,
HOT, muggy, windy, almost no birds, and 60 sixth graders! If we ignore the
dozen or so House Sparrows that we caught after we, in desperation, put up nets
at the Barr Lake Nature Center feeders, we banded 10 birds:
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
MacGillivray’s Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 2
Wilson’s Warbler 5
Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow 1
Hoping for better weather and more birds tomorrow!
