COBirders, I stopped at Big Johnson reservoir this evening and had the following:
1 Forster's Tern 1 Common Tern 2 Sabine's Gulls (juvs) 8+ Red-necked Phalaropes (there were as many as 35 a day or two ago) 40+ Barn Swallows 12 Common Nighthawks On Monday (9/20) evening while at my parents house, I estimated 200 Common Nighthawks slowly making their way south fairly high in the sky. They were busy feeding as they were moving south. My parents continue to have a couple of Black-chinned Hummingbirds and a Broad-tailed while I have had a single Calliope. ----- Mark Peterson Colorado Springs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
