Hi Cobirders. When you can't get away it pays to watch what birds are doing at your home.
Here are three recent ones:

Sat. Sept. 25 Starlings A swarm of a thousand or more plus a ballooning tail of hundreds swirled around above and to west of here at about 5 pm. Looking for a place to roost.
That time of the year but first from my place.

Monday Sept. 27 Robin lunging at Pyracantha berries took 3 this way at 6:15 pm.

Wed. Sept. 29 Black-capped Chickadee stood on rear outside faucet trying to get water
from where the hose was connected for several minutes.
So I set out water in a plastic paper plate on the nearby patio table.
