Hi Birders,
Another slow day at Barr – only 10 birds banded. Luck was with the Colorado
Mountain Club’s Birding 101 group, led by Mike Foster, which showed up when we
made the run in which we caught 7 of the 10. We all enjoyed the variety:
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2 (FOS)
Swainson’s Thrush 1
Spotted Towhee 1
Chipping Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow 2
Slate-colored Junco 1
Oregon Junco 1
Open Sunday and every day this coming week EXCEPT Wednesday.
