Hi Birders,
Banded 24 birds; caught our FOS Brown Creeper, a Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow
that I banded in 2007 and……..another Winter Wren!
Had a great time with a group led by Norm Lewis, debating things like age, sex
and even species on several sparrows.
Here’s the breakdown:
Red-shafted Flicker 1
Brown Creeper 1
Winter Wren 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 5
Audubon’s Warbler 3
Wilson’s Warbler 1
Spotted Towhee 3
Chipping Sparrow 1
Clay-colored Sparrow 1
Lincoln’s Sparrow 1
Song Sparrow 5
Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow 1 new, 1 recapture banded 2007
Open through Saturday, October 16, except for next Tuesday.
