Yesterday morning, Mark Peterson, David Chartier, Dan Maynard, and I were able
to see a Sprague's Pipit on the ground, and I was able to photograph it.  The
bird was at Bonny Reservoir State Park in Yuma County.  It is certainly seems
to be a good fall for this species in Colorado.  The photo can be seen at
(http://www.flickr.com/photos/brandonsbirdphotos/5071100775/).

On both October 9th and October 10th, we found two separate Baird's Sparrows at
Bonny Reservoir area.  Of course, there were a lot more Grasshopper Sparrows.
It is a good time to be out on the eastern plains walking the grasses and other
habitats looking for rare Ammodramus sparrows, with reports of Le Conte's,
Nelson's, Henslow's, and Baird's recently.
