Had an excellent day in the yard today, probably because of the rain.

1 white-breasted nuthatch
2 pine siskins
2 lesser goldfinches
2 American goldfinches, probably females
a few chickadees
1 spotted towhee
a few juncos
3 chipping sparrows
17 robins
2 ECO-doves (the mourning doves have left my corner of Broomfield for the
winter)
4 starlings
4 red-winged blackbirds
1 grackle still hanging on
12 house finches
5 house sparrows

There were 2 green-tailed towhees around a few days ago, but I think they've
moved on. Still haven't seen any white-crowned sparrows.
