A few interesting things seem to be appearing around Pueblo.

Today (19 October), David Chartier and I found a Northern Parula in Rock
Canyon, below Pueblo Reservoir dam and two Common Loons off West Fisherman's
Point at Pueblo Reservoir.  Also, a calling flyover (giving dry rattle call)
Lapland Longspur was at West Fisherman's Point parking area as well.

Yesterday (18 October), among the 74 species of birds that I saw/heard, the
highlights were a Nashville Warbler and a Swamp Sparrow both at Valco Ponds in
Pueblo.  Also, my first of the fall American Tree Sparrows at Valco Ponds, and
one Common Loon at Pueblo Reservoir.

Photos of the Northern Parula, Nashville Warbler, and Swamp Sparrow can be seen
on my flickr site.
