Folks,

Many birders saw and photographed the Ross's Gull today at Cherry Creek.  The 
bird is best seen from either the Lake Loop on the south side, or the west 
marina dam trail.  The bird has been seen several times on the sandbar close to 
the dam trail.  During the past 2 days the gull has disappeared for several 
hours only to reappear, usually on this sandbar.  Steve Stachowiak was nice 
enough to make a map of the park with these locations noted.  You can see the 
map from the link below along with some recent photos.  If you are coming in 
from out of town, be advised cold weather is forecasted for the next several 
days.  Highs will be in the 30's and lows in the teens and 20's.  We will 
continue to update this list with news of the Ross's Gull.
