Went to the feeder at the red rocks trading post early Tuesday, coming from Gunbarrel. Ended up with a great day of birding and photography. Saw the Thrasher a couple times during the morning, but was even more pleasantly surprised to get a great look at a Harris's Sparrow before a Sharp-shinned Hawk slowed the action a bit. Finished the morning with a great look at the Golden-crowned sparrow before heading back for some less exotic birds at Walden Ponds before calling it a day.
