Adams County:
--A Swamp Sparrow was reported by Beitsch by the canal outside the Visitors 
Center at Barr Lake on November 28.  It was on the south side of the bridge.
 
Arapahoe County: 
--At Cherry Creek State Park:
----An ad basic plumaged ROSS'S GULL was found by Roller and id'ed by Walbek 
and Wild on November 19.  On November 25, Kellner reported that the ROSS'S GULL 
could be seen from the Prairie Loop in the morning and Roller reported that the 
gull favored large stumps in the central part of the south shore in the 
afternoon.  Roller reported that the water level has risen at the reservoir and 
there is no longer a sandbar on the west side by the dam.   On November 26, 
Walbek reported that the ROSS'S GULL was seen from the Prairie Loop in the 
morning and the sandspit but no one has reported seeing the ROSS'S GULL Friday 
afternoon.

----2 Dunlin were reported by Walbek in the SE cove area of Cherry Creek on 
November 27.
 
Boulder County:  
--An ad TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Gent at the Valmont Power Plant on November 
25 and was seen again by Lamoureux  on November 28.
--An ad Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Kaempfer at the Valmont Power 
Plant on November 26.
--An ad Harris's Sparrow was reported by Waltman at Fawnbrook Inn in Allenspark 
on November 26.
--An imm TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Gent at Ish Reservoir on November 26.
--A female/imm Black Scoter was reported by Kaempfer on the north side of 
Baseline Reservoir in Boulder on November 28.
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Kaempfer at Lagerman Reservoir on November 28.
 
Delta County:
--3 TUNDRA SWANS were reported by Garrison at Confluence Park in Delta on 
November 26.
 
Denver County:
--A BRANT was reported by Pollock on the NW side of the lake behind Lakecrest 
at Gateway Apartments, 4699 Kittredge on November 28.
  
Douglas County:
--2 American Three-toed Woodpeckers were reported by Huffstater west of Sedalia 
along Hwy 67 just east of Rampart Range Road on November 22.
 
El Paso County:
--An imm Harris's Sparrow was reported by Bucher at Fountain Creek Regional 
Park on November 24 and seen again by Evans on November 25.
 
Fremont County:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Moss at Brush Hollow Reservoir on November 24 
and November 28.
 
Garfield County:
--2 Long-tailed Ducks were reported by McConnell at Rifle Gap on November 28.
 
Huerfano County:
--2 Surf Scoters were reported by Nelder at Martin Lake in Lathrop State Park 
on November 23 and November 26.
--A TRUMPETER SWAN was reported by Nelder at Lathrop State Park on November 24 
and November 25.
--2 White-winged Doves , a White-throated Sparrow, and a  Red Fox Sparrow 
visited the Nelder yard in La Veta on November 30.  The address is 151 County 
Road 359.
--9 TUNDRA SWANS were reported by Nelder at La Veta Town Lakes on November 25.
--A BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE was reported by Nelder at Lathrop State Park at 
North Martin Inlet on November 28.
  
Jefferson County: 
--On November 29 at Red Rocks Trading Post, Henwood reported the GOLDEN-CROWNED 
SPARROW and Harris's Sparrow and both were seen again on November 30 by Zmolek.
--A CURVE-BILLED THRASHER was found by Chavez on October 27 at the Red Rocks 
Trading Post and has been seen daily through Nov 9.  Zmolek reported the
thrasher on November 30.
 
Lake County:
--On November 6, Kalbach reported 3 TRUMPETER SWANS at the extreme western end 
of Twin Lake and on November 19, Kalbach reported that a TUNDRA SWAN and joined 
the TRUMPETERS.  On November 29, Offerman reported that the swans were still 
present.
  
Larimer County: 
--1 ad Lesser Black-backed Gull and 1 ad male Barrow's Goldeneye were reported 
by Komar at Lake Loveland on November 26.
--An American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Kaempfer on Rist Canyon 
Road on November 26.
--A Surf Scoter was reported by Kaempfer at Dry Creek Reservoir on November 26.
 
Las Animas County:
--An imm Harris's Sparrow was reported by Snider at the house of Ray Harrell in 
Trinidad on November 26.  The address is 1205 Grant.  The house has orange 
shutters and a white picket fench in front.  Snider reported that the sparrow 
was present again on November 28.
 
Mesa County:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Dexter at Colorado River State Park in Grand 
Junction at D and 30.30 on November 26 and seen again by Korte on November 27.
 
Ouray Country:
--3 hatch year Surf Scoters were reported by Dexter at Ridgway Reservoir on 
November 22.  On November 28, Nelson reported 1 Surf Scoter at Ridgway 
Reservoir.
 
Park County:
--A juv gray-phase GYRFALCON was reported by Kellner on Hwy 285 .2 mile north 
of mm 193 just north of Como on November 28.
--Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches including Hepburn's and Black Rosy-Finches were the 
consolation prize for those chasing the GYRFALCON.  Rosy-Finches were seen in 
Como on Novmeber 28 in the vicinity of a bright Blue House with a POW flag in 
front as reported by Patrick.  On November 29, Offerman reported that all 3 
species of Rosy-Finches including 3 Hepburns were seen in Como.

Pueblo County:
--At Pueblo Reservoir on November 28, Sanders and the DFO field trip reported 1 
GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL at the South Marina, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull west of 
Fisherman's Point, and 1 male Long-tailed Duck just west of Fisherman's Point.
--A YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was reported by Kibbe at Pueblo City Park on 
November 28.
 
Sedgwick County:
--A juv BRANT, Black Scoter, and 1-st cycle Thayer's Gull were reported by Wild 
at Jumbo Reservoir on November 28.

Weld County:
--At Windsor Reservoir on November 24, Komar reported 1 ad Thayer's Gull and 1 
ad Lesser Black-backed Gull.  On November 27, Lefko reported 1 ad Lesser 
Black-backed Gull and 1 Barrow's Goldeneye at Windsor Reservoir.
--At North Weld County Landfill on Hwy 14 near Ault, Komar reported 1 ad Lesser 
Black-backed Gull on November 24.
--A 1-st year Long-tailed Duck was reported by Gent in the south part of Union 
Reservoir on November 26.
--A 1-st cycle Thayer's Gull was reported by Kaempfer at Union Reservoir on 
November 26.
--At Drake Lake on November 27, Lefko reported 1 ad Lesser Black-backed Gull.
--At Arrowhead Lake on November 27, Lefko reported 4 TRUMPETER SWANS.
 
The DFO field trip for Saturday, December 4 will be to Deer Creek Canyon led by 
Lynn Willcockson 303-757-7000).  Meet the leader at 0800 at the entrance to the 
Arboretum on Deer Creek Canyon Road, about a quarter mile west of Wadsworth 
Blvd.  Half-day trip, lunch optional.  Please call the leader if you plan to 
attend.
 
The DFO field trip for Sunday, December 5, will be to Barr Lake and Winter 
Raptors led by Tim Smart (303-439-9627).   Join Tim and co-leader Meredith 
Anderson look for wintering waterfowl and raptors.  Meet the leaders at 0830 at 
the Visitors' Center parking lot.  Bring lunch, scope and two-way radio if you 
have one.  Trip will finish by mid-afternoon.
