Since my eye surgery restrictions are scheduled to decrease tomorrow, I am offering the opportunity to go on a sapsucker finding trip either Saturday or Sunday (I already have arrangements to go for the sapsuckers with an out of state birder on Friday). Several birders have driven down here in the past 2 weeks with varying levels of success in finding the sapsuckers they wanted to see. I can pretty much guarantee I can find at least one male and one female Williamson's plus a good chance at the male Red-naped Sapsucker. Because these birds often fly off to parts unknown when disturbed, it is important to start looking before lots of activity gets going at the parks or Lakeside Cemetery. If you are interested, let me know as soon as possible and let me know which day is best for you.
