The four of us mentioned in a previous post also saw a Harlan's Hawk
perched in a cottonwood at the south end of Barr Lake. The bird was
all black with a "white necklace". Best place to view the bird is
near the corner of 128th Avenue and Tower Road at the south end of
Barr Lake.
