Hi all,

We had a very good turn out for the Fountain Creek Christmas Bird Count today,
over 20 people and beautiful warm weather!!  Looks like we are at least at 89
species, which breaks our record from last year by 8!!  The Pine Warbler,
Winter Wren, Harris's Sparrows, Swamp Sparrows were all found at Fountain Creek
Regional Park today, as well as Field Sparrow, Lesser Black-backed Gull,
Evening Grosbeaks, and Western Bluebirds in other parts of the circle (which
were all new for the count).  Also, seen were Northern Mockingbird, Lincoln's
Sparrow, Eastern Bluebirds, Lesser Goldfinches, and more species of waterfowl
then usual.
