For the second year, a Winter Wren was seen on the Barr Lake CBC. The wren was
feeding vigorously along the edge of the wet drainage ditch on the north side
of the dam east of the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory headquarters. Paul
Slingsby spotted the wren which was also observed for some time by Jim Duggan
and me. A photo of the little critter will be posted on the RMBO blog latter
this week. The blog can be found at www.rmbo.org. Also seen in the area were a
Harlan's Hawk, Short-eared Owl, and Northern Shrike.
