Along WCR 100 between WCR 27 and WCR 23 are multiple thousands of
Horned Larks and multiple dozens of Lapland Longspurs.

I've noticed in my eight years up here snow brings out the Horned
Larks and tends to tighten them all into a single HUGE flock(s) (like
today).

Once snow goes away, sun comes out--they disperse into smaller
flocks.  I'm thinking if you want to see these guys you need to
venture up today or next few days.
