I just had a slate-colored junco with wing bars show up at my feeder in Littleton. Not a white-winged... too small, not enough white in the tail, pink bill, but it got me wondering... does anyone know the rough ratio of slate-colored with wing bars, to "normal" plumaged birds? I seem to see barred juncos pretty frequently.
