A male Barrow's (or mostly Barrow's) Goldeneye was present in the Wheatridge Greenbelt on 1/13. It was swimming in Clear Creek east (downstream) of Youngfield St. This is almost certainly the same bird I saw on Tabor Lake in the greenbelt last December. The plumage is perfect for Barrow's as near as I can tell, but the head shape appears more like Common Goldeneye to me - it is more "triangular" in shape without the steep forehead typical of Barrow's. An interesting bird.
