Well, not quite...

But an outing scheduled for the wee hours of the morning of July 31st of this
year should prove to be the ornithological equivalent of such an event. Details
remain to be worked out, but we'll do a big sit starting at midnight and ending
at nautical dawn. Drop in for as much or as little as you wish. Bring lawn
chairs, drinks, nonbirding companions, what have you. We will be at an
undisclosed location in eastern Boulder County, where we will listen to a
symphony of hissing Barn Owls and whistling Soras; twittering night-singing
Barn Swallows aplenty; Chipping Sparrows and Lark Buntings on nocturnal
migration; and maybe even an Upland Sandpiper or two.

We'll have more details later. For now, just mark the date on your calendars.
