We were able to find the adult male sapsucker of Dave Leatherman's postings in the pine trees and adjacent deciduous trees in the SW corner at Grandview Cemetery in Larimer County, just east of the portapotty. He was working in the vicinity of a female Downy WP and a creeper at about 11AM. Advice for the weekends - beware of golfers! They periodically have to jump the fence in pursuit of errant balls (one fellow then went on to whack the ball he'd just retrieved into a nearby tree!).
Near the lower Latham outlet area, a large pond on the south side of CR48 held a pair of Greater White-fronted geese in addition to about a thousand white cheeked geese.
