Birders, I found a SAGE SPARROW at the Eldorado Mountain Open Space this afternoon. It was running around on the dirt road in true Sage Sparrow fashion. Two GRAY-HEADED JUNCOS kept it company. Here's a map of the exact location: http://tinyurl.com/42aef8d
Down in the grasslands off of S. CR 66 I found 5 SAGE THRASHERS and a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE, rounding out the chaparral constituency.
