On my commute this morning so some behavior that is new for me in my ten years of being up here. Six Swainson's Hawks roosting on a single tree (the "famous (only) one" between WCR 27 and WCR 23 along WCR 100). Pics of them and other morning birds (Burrowing Owls (6 so far, last year 25+) returning to colony just west of us on WCR 33. BTW they are plentiful this year--10--along WCR 100 between house and Wellington.
I know Swainson's "huddle up" in fall wasn't expecting to see in spring. http://coloradobirder.ning.com/photo Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn http://coloradobirder.ning.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
