On 23 Apr, 4:00PM Rick Taylor was out looking for the reported Short-
Eared Owl. No luck, but he was able to spot a Burrowing Owl amongst
the Prairie Dogs. On the N-S road to the west of the reservoir, scan
the ground about 100 yards from the fence line. The Owl hops around
looking for grubs. Then he perches next to a hole and guards it. You
can see him with binoculars, but need a scope to get a good look.
