With the Boulder Bird Club's Wednesday Road Runners, I refound the
Yellow-throated Vireo along the Boulder Creek Path just 50 meters East
of the Foothills Highway. It was affording everyone lovely looks and
flitting back and forth across the path. I do not think it has been
seen since last week. Good luck to those who missed it and want to try
again.
We were unable to refind the Yellow-throated Warbler however. The
fair weather last night might have allowed his escape. The number of
Yellow Rumps was way down. We saw a Peregrine Falcon and a half dozen
Wood Ducks along the creek, and some first of season singing House
Wrens.
Our next outing will be this Sunday at Walden Ponds at 8 AM with
leader Cara Stiles ( [email protected] ) . Please join us if you
can. Our Calendar and Newsletter is available at www.boulderbirdclub.net
