The good news is that I just had a male Broad-tailed Hummingbird at my feeder. The bad news is that I struck out this afternoon (missed on Monday as well) on the Black-throated Sparrow at CU South Campus. Lots of Chipping Sparrows, and several Vesper's and a Say's Phoebe. I also struck out this afternoon on the Yellow-throated Vireo. I only saw a very few Yellow-rumped's at Boulder Creek near Arapahoe Ave. Following is a link to some photos I took of the Yellow-throated Warbler that I took Monday afternoon. My photos aren't any better than others that have been posted, but I have a unique flight shot. David Waltman Boulder http://www.flickr.com/photos/waltmandavid/sets/72157626594610290/
