Today, I saw a beautiful alternate plumage Common Loon at Marston. The bird was poking along the east side , seen from Bow Mar Dr. As the bird swam ever so slowly he/she, looked under water quite a bit checking out what was below. I never get tired of looking at breeding plumage Common Loons, especially if they are super close for viewing. Happy Birding, Tina Jones Littleton, Jefferson County, CO.
