I spent a bit of time out shorebirding in Boulder County this afternoon and ended with 8 species.
Spotted Sandpipers and Killdeer were at multiple locations but the only American Avocets that I found were at Prince Lake #5. There were a pair of Semipalmated Plovers at both Lagerman Reservoir and Walden Ponds Lagerman Reservoir had a single Marbled Godwit tucked way back in the NW corner. Walden had a variety of peeps-I identified at least one Western Sandpiper and Least Sandpiper but most numerous were Semipalmated Sandpiper of which there were about 15. Also at Walden, Marsh Wrens and Soras were making a racket, and I had my first House Wren singing at Greenly Preserve.
