It appears to me that what I have always known as the Lark Bunting is also known as the Prairie Lark Finch. Is this true or are these different birds? If this is the same bird, which is the official and which is the common name, if there is one?
If they are different, which one is the official state bird? I'm finding different claims all over the web. Some say Lark Bunting and some say Prairie Lark Finch.
