While looking out the window this afternoon I spotted yet another male Rose-breasted Grosbeak...this makes a total of 5 males...all quite unique and in different phases of molt/plumage. Went through our photos and took the best of each. The can be seen at the following link: Rose-breasted Grosbeak Bachelor Party<http://coloradobirder.ning.com/photo/albums/rosebreasted-grosbeak-bachelor>
They seldom come in together...but you can definitely tell they are different birds! They have all been here for around two weeks...we have never had them stay this long before, typically a quick couple of days and they are gone. If anyone has a spare female Rose-breasted Grosbeaks...please send her my way!
