Hi Colorado Birders My partner and I are visiting CO this week for some birding. We plan on spending a day or so at the Pawnee and the remainder of the week searching for white-tailed ptarmigan and dusky grouse. We were hoping that CO might be able to provide any helpful hints, strategies, and current information. I have found the Colorado County Birding website and we have the Birding Colorado Falcon Guide.
Any information on road conditions/closures in RMNP and Guanella Pass? We would also love to see Boreal owl, but realize that our chances are slim unless someone knows of a nest site. Thanks so much in advance.
