This evening while enjoying our supper out of doors we heard a Yellow-billed Cuckoo in our yard! While we looked and looked we never saw it...but listened to the song on our iPod while hearing it...compared it to every other conceivable bird song we could find...and finally declared this our yard bird # 121. It was in the very dense foliage between our house and the creek on the west side of our property...perfect cuckoo habitat!
