Birders, The Western Gull continues at Chatfield as of 4 pm today.
Tammy hadn't seen it yet so after Barr Lake (nothing unusual) we went to Chatfield and with all the people there getting that shoulder to shoulder quality recreational experience I was sure the gull wouldn't be at the swim beach or on the marina spit. I was right. There wasn't any room for him on the spit as just about every square inch of sand was covered in humanity or their boats. >From the spit we scoped east to what's left of the Plum Creek delta and the Western Gull was on a small spit in the delta with several pelicans and ring-billed gulls.
