I saw a singing male Ovenbird on the Mesa Trail south of Bear Canyon Trailhead actively working the area both sides of the trail north of the Fern Canyon cutoff trail and the Mesa Trail split. I had seen a singing male Ovenbird on the 1st just south of Bear Creek on the Mesa Trail. I also saw the Prairie Falcons flying out of the canyon twice. The only other unusual sighting was blue sky.
