Birders, The Broad-winged Hawk first found by Lewis continues at Welchester Tree Park as of this a.m. This is the light morph bird. I was not fortunate enough to see the other hawk described by Schottler yesterday but at one point this morning I thought I heard 2 separate hawks calling.
There was also a singing Western Tanager present. Welchester is on 8th Ave west of Simms in Lakewood/Golden.
