Hello all,

Last evening in Georgetown, I heard what could only have been the
Rufous-collared Sparrow singing. Unfortunately it sang only briefly and
never showed itself; nor could I obtain sound recordings. It seems the bird
is probably still there -- and I only say "probably" because I haven't heard
this individual before and I'm not very familiar with the species' song.
But the song matched descriptions, and it certainly wasn't anything
ordinary!
