When the Western Gull showed up I was 3082.32 miles away waiting for Asian strays to land with John Vanderpoel on his big year quest, http://www.bigyear2011.com/ . My thoughts at the time were bummer, I missed a good one in CO. I final got settled back home last night, checked out COBirds and Joey reported the gull was still at Chatfield. I headed down this morning and the Western Gull was in the Platte Delta at 8:45 this morning. Thanks, Joey.
