Hi COBirders,

Sitting in back at 7:30 am, enjoying the cool air and watching jays fighting
over peanuts - a White-Winged Dove flew in and landed on the fence about 20'
away. While it was checking out the feeders another one was calling a couple
of yards down. After about 10 minutes it flew off through the houses.

I have only had WW Doves twice before here - both times in November.

Also had male Calliope Hummingbird, and first yard male Black-chinned
Hummingbird. I've had female Black-chinneds, and a hatch-year male - but
hadn't seen a bright purple-throated male here.

Good birding,
