Hello, Birders. Just a quick note here. In the coupla hours after sunrise this morning, Wed., Aug. 24th, there was an impressive morning flight at Lafayette, Boulder County. I heard songbird flight calls almost constantly during the period. And although I wasn't birding, I couldn't help but notice various birds "on the ground," including Lark Bunting, Passerina buntings, Wilson's Warbler, etc. Thought I heard a few Townsend's Warbler flight calls, too, but couldn't hook up on a visual.
That brief pulse of north winds overnight musta done the trick. Wish I'd been out for the night flight; I suspect it was wonderful. ------------------------------- Ted Floyd Editor, BirdingĀ Please check out the website of the ABA: http://tinyurl.com/6kmbfvx And please check out The ABA Blog: http://tinyurl.com/4n6qswt We're on twitter, too: http://tinyurl.com/2ejzlzv ------------------------------- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
