Two days ago I found 2 female/imm MacGillivray's Warblers foraging just
above my friend's farm pond near Canon City. Since I could take the photos
from inside my car (still have some restrictions from surgery) I was able to
get a few good photos that I have uploaded to my BirdsAndNature
<http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com>blog (also added two other posts, one
about nestling bird mortality and the other about impacts of hurricanes on
birds plus a tracked Whimbrel that survived flying through Hurricane
Irene). Interestingly they appeared to be migrating together as they fed
near each other then moved off at same time and in same direction.

This morning I saw a male Wilson's Warbler along the Arkansas River east of
Canon City. Have been seeing more male Yellow Warblers in past week with
earlier birds being mostly female/imm types. More on migration later
