Cobirders:
It was a slow morning banding at Clear Springs Ranch (CSR).*
For a while, we wondered if all the birds had drowned in the 5" rainfall
Wednesday evening.
Then we had four recaptures from Wed morning :)
Our list:
American Goldfinch, 1
Black-capped Chickadee, 1
Blue Grosbeak, 1
Chipping Sparrow, 3 + 1 recap
House Wren, 1
Lazuli Bunting, 3 + 3 recaps
Lincoln's Sparrow, 1
Song Sparrow, 1
Wilson's Warbler, 1
9 species
15 birds processed
Next banding session likely to be at CSR Thursday 9/22/11 starting at 7a
Best wishes,
Dave
