My husband, Riley, and I made a quick run up to Lagerman Reservoir at about 5pm today, and were able to refind the juvenile Sabine's Gull. It was floating and feeding on the surface for about 20 minutes, and then took to the air and headed south west. It allowed us some really great looks even with the waning sun. Also present were a few Gadwalls, Pied-billed Grebes, Western Grebes, American Coots, quite a few Great Blue Herons, and one lone Eared Grebe. We also were able to see two adult Bald Eagles fly into one of the cottonwood trees on the ridge to the south of Lagerman. Thanks Peter for helping us to find this county bird!
