Cobirds --
I am back from a long vacation and interested to see the reports of at
least one Red-bellied Woodpecker in Weld County. I reported hearing what I
thought was a Red-bellied Woodpecker at Barr Lake last winter. With reason,
several Cobirders questioned whether that was likely. However, these recent
reports make me wonder again since Barr Lake is only 75 miles or so from Crow
Valley C.G. I will be interested to learn if any of this species are heard or
seen again next year.
