Greetings All,

Well, today started off much as yesterday ended, but with more wind and less
rain.
Nonetheless, it was a rather tough go.

BYO Playa still had shorebirds, but nothing new, with a golden-plover being the
best bird.
Given that water is no longer scarce on the Pawnee, passerines were not drawn
to this spot :o)

Crow Valley Campground was quite birdy, though the birds were quite skulking.
Highlights were

1 Eastern x Spotted Towhee (very much like Eastern in appearance)
1 "Mountain" WB Nuthatch
3 White-throated Sparrows
2 semi-late BG Gnatcatchers

Windsor Lake is still dull

I stopped at Kodak SWA on the way home, just south of Windsor on the s. side of
the Poudre River.
Egads, it was fun. Why? Because winds were light and the sun was out!!!

It was fairly birdy, with 3 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS being the highlight.

Good Birding
