I had Lewis's Woodpecker at three different locations yesterday. First was at Big Bend recreation area off of US-285, second was on CR 163 and the third was in the usual location in Buena Vista. Also at a small pond on CR 163 mixed in with some Mallards, Green-winged Teal, one coot and one Ruddy Duck was a *Wood Duck*. Ice Lake in Buena Vista had dabbling ducks, three *Pied-billed Grebe* and a few Eared Grebe. Taking one last look before I left, a *Belted Kingfisher* hovered, then dropped in for a fish. Nice surprise.
Finally, Clear Creek Reservoir had eight Ring-billed Gull and one Western Grebe. -- Todd Deininger Longmont, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
