Today just before noon, Jeanne and I spotted a plover on the south shore of Big Johnson Reservoir (El Paso). After watching it for a while and getting several poor quality pics through the scope we thought it might be an American Golden-plover.
We sent the best of the photos to a couple of folks who also thought AMGP was the most likely ID. I do not have a photo site, but would be willing to forward the pic to anyone who wants to see it.
