I'm posting for Chuck Aid again.The Little Blue Heron was seen in Jefferson County, about 3 hours ago, by Chuck Aid. It was seen downstream from Fisherman's bridge. As you are leaving in your car from Fisherman's bridge[the bridge goes over the Platte R.] heading back to the north entrance to Chatfield Reservoir, the bird was seen in the cove at the first right hand turn after leaving Fisherman's bridge. You pull into a parking area where the lake becomes a cove. Walk east on the trail and the Heron was seen quite a ways east . You can see the bird also from the Heronry overlook, west towards the cove, but the bird was further away from this spot. This is all the info I have at this point. Joe Roller and Doug Kibbe just saw the bird[around 4pm]. One of them may add information about the location.
